I am the current Vice-President of the STATHSCAN Alumni Association (2020 to 2022 )
I attended STATHS from 1989 to 1993. I was the Deputy Head Boy, Cadet Sergeant, Vice-President of the Maths Club, Student Council Representative and member of the Junior Achievers Club. I represented STATHS on the Pappin Program on JBC Television where I was a panel member discussing the currently issues of the day and how they were impacting high school students. I also represented STATHS in my other roles listed above. I was successful at eight out of eight "O' level subjects at grade level 1 and 2. I graduated with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
I was awarded a full Scholarship to attend College in the United States of America at Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) in Appleton, Wisconsin. At FVTC, I was President of DECA, Student Ambassador and Treasurer of the Multicultural Club. I was also a Volunteer Soccer Coach and played on the City's Soccer team winning both leaques as a Coach and Player respectively.
After returning to Jamaica, I meet my wife, Denise, who also graduated from STATHS in 1993. We got married in 1998 and immigrated to Canada in 2004, and have called Canada home since. We are the proud parents of three children and seek to instill in them faith, love, peace and family. And also, giving back to your community.
I am a Board Member/Elder at my local church and along with my wife, we are the Coordinators for the Couples Ministry. I have served as a Outreach Soccer Coach, Usher, Teacher, Praise Team and Choir member.
I am an active member of my community in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, where I Advocate for Equity, Inclusivity, Accountability and Transparency. In 2018, I ran for a City Council seat but was runner up out of seven candidates, with over 4,600 votes.
